In mechanical systems, lubrication is the most common way to reduce friction and wear [1][2][3][4]. The idea of lubricants is preventing direct contact between surfaces to avoid
missing. A deeper understanding of how different lubricants interact with gears during rotationaltransmission is hence highly desirable [56].
